Maruti Suzuki has successfully commissioned Phase I of its new manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, Haryana.
The facility has a production capacity of 250,000 vehicles per annum.
Commercial production commenced on 25th February 2025.
The company said the expansion would enhance the company’s production capabilities and meet growing demand.
Last week, Maruti Suzuki’s Japanese parent company shared a long-term plan of achieving a 8 trillion yen (4,64,487 crore) revenue target by 2030.
The plan focuses on achieving an operating profit margin of 10% and a return on equity (ROE) of 15% by the early 2030s.
Maruti Suzuki has two other manufacturing facilities in Haryana, including in Gurgaon and Manesar, with larger production capacities.

Maruti Suzuki shares traded 0.4% higher at ₹12,400 Tuesday morning. The stock is trading at a P/E ratio of 26.8.
