Bharti Airtel (NSE: BHARTIARTL) has partnered with Blinkit to deliver SIM cards to customers’ homes in 10 minutes.
The service is initially available in 16 major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
Customers will have to shell out a fee of ₹49 to receive their SIM cards at home. Activation of the SIM card could be done through an Aadhaar-based KYC process from home.
Customers can choose between prepaid and postpaid plans, or port their existing number to Airtel.
Post-delivery, customers must activate their SIM within 15 days to ensure service continuity.
Airtel aims to expand this service to more cities in the future. The telecom company said the initiative is part of its strategy to simplify customer experiences and enhance service delivery.
