Wipro Ltd. (NSE: WIPRO) has moved its headquarters for the Middle-East region to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The information technolgy giant’s earlier headquarters for the region were earlier based in the same country as well, in the city of Al Khobar.

Wipro said the move would help “further advance [its] decades-long
presence in the Middle East.”

The Bengaluru-based company also signed a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) with Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Riyadh.

Wipro shares moved up 1.3% in Monday’s session to ₹251.72 amid a block deal that saw 2% of its outstanding shares move, worth over ₹5,000 crores.

Wipro shares have a 52-week high of ₹324.60 and low of ₹228 on the NSE.
